Hey hey,

i have a problem with spine. I'm using spine now for over 2 years on windows 8 and windows 8.1. I have upgraded now from windows 8.1 to windows 10. After that i have reinstalled my complete pc with windows 10. I have a fresh system now. Everything is working fine but spine is not starting.

I have installed java and spine. When i'm making a double click on the spine .exe file i see only 1 or 2 seconds a loading mouse icon and after that everything is as before. No windows process in the task manager ... nothing. I have tried to start spine as administrator ... nothing. I have reinstalled spine ... nothing, compatibilty mode ... nothing. Only 2 seconds a loading mouse icon and nothing happens.

Can you help me? I have the newest driver for my graphics card ( GTX 760 ), i did a restart, reinstalled java ... JRE/JDK ..

Can't get spine to work. Need help ...

Found my problem. I had too install: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package

Sorry you had this issue. It isn't seen on many computers because that package is so common. The next version of the Spine launcher won't have this problem.

I'm having this same exact problem. I upgraded from 7 to 10 and it worked fine (it was installed when the system was w7).
That same night i broke my own system by deleting some files (not my finest move) and had to do a clean install of w10 and now spine wont start. Running it results in the mouse cursor showing working for a split second and then nothing.

Shall i wait for some update? maybe download the installer again next week or so?

Nevermind, looks like Spine fixed itself somehow. I'll post again if it happens to break again.
