Can I use audio in "Essential" version as reference only?
Hello,
I am considering buying spine "Essential" (unfortunately I cannot afford "pro" version currently...) and I need to make sure that it will do the job I need, before buying. I have already downloaded the trial version and I understand that there are certain limitations in "Essential" version. Will I be able to import audio and use it ONLY as reference inside the "dopesheet", without including it in the final export, in "Essential" version?

Hello, unfortunately Audio is not available in Spine Essential, as you can read in the list of features available here on the right: Spine: Purchase Spine

Than...Can we add audio sound in Unity with the spine animation?
I give an example:
In Unity I add a tree and I add some menus in the right for the tree to make this animation to move (leaves are moving)...
So is it possible to add sound with it? What name do I have to add for adding a audio file?
I also can't effort the professional and I am glad that there was a discount for essential.
There is always a way to resolve this and maybe someone knows already how to do it on Unity instead in Spine...if you don't have pro of course
You can use events in Essential, so you can add events where you want sound, then in Unity when an event occurs you can play a sound. You could choose a sound based on the event name or string value. What you name the events is up to you.

I tried the event on spine but it's only available on PRO.
So I can't add a sound with the animation.
I will try another solution with Unity...
