Dragging Elements In A Straight Line

Hey guys, I am hoping this is a dumb question that is easily answered.

I use a suite of design tools for my day job, such as Adobe Illustrator. In most of the design software available, you can make a straight path or straight brush line by holding SHIFT + Left Click + dragging the mouse in horizontal or vertical direction.

With spine I am trying to do the same and make my bones or paths drag in a perfect vertical direction and can 't figure out for the life of me how to do that. The usual SHIFT method doesn't work, nor does any other combo of ALT, CTRL / CMND.

I've googled the shortcut for this on spine and haven't found any answers.

Anyone know how this is achieved? This is particularly frustrating when creating paths.

Hi robheath,
To drag your bones or paths in perfectly straight lines just select the translate tool, click once on the bone/path/path handle, then a green and a yellow arrow should appear. Click on one of them ans start moving the mouse, they will move in a perfectly straight line.
If you need a straight line with a particular angle rememeber that if you change axis and select parent instead of world the two arrows will orientate according to the parent bone!
And if you need to resize a handle without rotating it accidentally, you can press Shift.

I guess in terms of actually creating new elements in a straight line, there isn't a way to create them straight, it just needs to be fixed in the rotation settings.
