Add new frame-based body part on existing character.
Hallo, I have a problem with place new frame-based body part animation on existing character. I need to place a new part to Spine with same position like in photoshop and it is problem, because only way how I can put it in is drag and drop but photoshop position and rotation is lost. I am creating character from prerendered 3d model and hands have soo much changes so I make decision to create it with frame-base animation but I need precise position from photoshop for correct positioning. So if I have all parts prepared on first import, it will by everything ok but I don't have it. The solution would be if you create new functionality to place new images in Tree/Images called 'Place new' button.
Thank you soo much for help.
Select the image under the Images
node. Then click Set Parent
and click the image that you've already placed in the tree. This will place the new image with the same transforms.
I hope it helps.

Thank you Shiu for your quick response but unfortunately it didn't help because position is calculated from center parent image and also from center new image so photoshop position and rotation is lost. Every frame-based image have different size and different center so this is reason why I need photoshop correct position.
For now I see only one way. Open another Spine and inport new frame-based animations and then manually positioning x,y,° on main project.
éééééé boring.
In Spine 3.6 you can export from Photoshop with the script, import into your project under a new skeleton, then (starting in 3.6) you can drag bones, slots, and attachments from one skeleton to another. This allows you to move your perfectly positioned attachments from the newly imported skeleton to your existing skeleton, then you can delete the imported skeleton.
Another way to do it is to create a skeleton where each image is large enough (using whitespace around the edges) for all the different attachments you will place there. This way all your images will be the same size and Shiu's method will work for you. However, the real advantage to this method is that you don't have to bring the attachments into Spine at all, you could generate the attachments at runtime. This can be helpful when you may have hundreds or thousands of attachment images.
Thank you Nate for good news. So now I need wait for official release 3.6. Does anyone know when it will be done?
Spine 3.6 is in beta. You can opt into beta releases from Settings
. Just keep in mind that if you save your project in the beta you won't be able to open it with an older version, so make sure you take a backup first.
