Parent and Child Bone Hotkey

Hi guys,

I've been using Spine for a few weeks, and yesterday I encountered an odd bug. I use "Parent Bone" and "Child Bone" hotkeys to pickwalk up and down skeletons. Yesterday, out of nowhere, the hotkey selects a bone, then ADDS the next bone to the selection (rather than selecting each bone individually). The only way I've found to restore functionality is to reinstall Spine completely. The issue was in the recent Beta release as well. I thought it was a fluke, but the issue occurred again this morning.

Can anyone think of why this is happening? It's a function I use constantly and a full reinstall is painful. Thanks so much!

Do you have any way to reliably reproduce the issue so we can too? It is weird that a full reinstall would fix it.

Hi badlogic,
I've been trying but it's really strange. When it happened the first time, I switched to an older version of Spine in the settings menu, then back to the recent non-beta version of Spine. That seemed to fix it. When it happened the second time on bootup the next day, switching versions didn't help. I tried deleting the hotkey file, etc. to no avail. But a full reinstall worked. I don't see the problem today

fingers crossed that the full reinstall did the trick. I'll update here if it happens again.

Can you think of any file I should keep an eye on that may be related to that particular functionality? I made a copy of the "working" Spine programs folder and settings folder.

The hotkey file would have been my first guess as well. Can't think of another file that could trigger this. Please keep an eye out for the problem and alert us if it happens again! Thanks for reporting.
