This may be outside the scope for this program but I create normal maps for my animations and one of the issues that I've come across is trying to combine the 3d effects of meshes and normal map lighting. Using meshes is great for making an animation look more 3d and without using meshes, normal map lighting does the same but combine the 2 and the lighting gets skewed and looks bad.
It would be awesome if normal data could be included in the animations where normals by default would face the screen, you could key a normal for each image, and meshes would have normals for each triangle face. That would allow animators to use the data from an animation and correctly combine normal map lighting and meshes/scaling.
Even better would be options to mark a skin as a normal map for another skin and display lighting in the editor but I feel that might be asking for too much. 🙂
