  • Visibility Groups?

Does Spine have any way to group assets together to turn on and off their visibility? I'm working on an asset that's a column. The column is one png, then it cracks into 20 pieces to crumble. Is there a way to set this up where I only have to key the visibilty of one group instead of keying 20 pieces?

Thank you in advance!

In Spine, you can manage the visibility of multiple assets by using the visibility dot feature. You can right-click a bone's visibility dot to hide it and all its child slots and bones without affecting animations. This allows you to group assets under a single parent bone and control their visibility collectively. Additionally, you can create an animation where you set keys to turn visibility on and off for the group, and then copy these keys to other animations as needed. This method helps streamline the process of managing visibility for multiple assets.

ErikS_in2D There is no feature to directly share the visibility state of a group, but Spine allows you to save selection groups using hotkeys, which enables you to select and hide specific slots.
However, only up to 10 selected groups can be saved, so this may not be sufficient in some cases.

The Sliders feature, added in 4.3-beta, allows you to mix different animations and easily toggle the visibility of specific attachments during an animation. Since you can create an unlimited number of sliders, this feature is useful when you want to add visibility toggles as keys within an animation rather than just for temporary organization during editing. Unfortunately, the user guide does not yet explain Sliders, so I have included a video below that shows how to use it:
