It's strange you see Maximum bounds. That doesn't show for me in the same situation (multiple skeletons with all but one hidden).

I'm unable to get 4.2.42 to create a folder from the output file path.

If a folder with the same name as the PNG is in the way, the path updates to append the skeleton name. If I enter a path, then put a folder in the way, it exports into that folder using the skeleton name. Neither of those is what you see though. I see you specified a path, no folder was in the way, and it created a folder for some reason. It's hard to fix when we can't see the problem. 🙁

Can you please click Save in the bottom left and post the export settings JSON file?

I exported a jeason I imported back, and now I can export PNGs normally:
But I do not understand why I can export form a standard project, properly. (it is not just this one but any project which I open from spine file, or I create from scrach)
I ZIP-ed everything I am curious if you can experience the same thing with my file:
