I have been using version 4.8 of the PhotoshopToSpine script without any issues. However, after updating to the latest version 7.4 from GitHub, I've encountered some problems. In both versions 4.8 and 7.4, the script is supposed to trim parts that go beyond the PSD canvas when exporting images by default. In practice, only version 4.8 successfully trims the excess, while version 7.4 doesn't perform this action. I checked the script for version 7.4 and noticed that revealAll is set to false by default.

I have also tested this with both Photoshop 2018 and 2024 versions, and the issue persists. I hope this problem can be resolved. Thank you!

As a matter of fact, we just recently became aware of this problem. However, since Spine 4.2 allows PSD import directly into the editor, we are not currently making any updates to PhotoshopToSpine.jsx, and conversely, we know that some users are using the current behavior as the correct one, so we are still considering whether or not to fix it.
For your information, if you perform a PSD import in Spine 4.2, the out-of-canvas areas will be cropped. If you are using Spine 4.2, please take advantage of the new PSD import feature.

In any case, we will continue to consider how this issue should be handled.

I understand the reason for not fixing it temporarily. If no option is added to the interface, many people wouldn't know to open the script to modify the value of revealAll. They acquire the script in different ways, and may not all see the usage instructions. Moreover, importing PSDs directly is very convenient. However, in practical use, I might use multiple folders within a single PSD and use [folder] to export materials from different folders. In this case, I can't directly drag the PSD in. But now I can use 7.4 to help retain parts outside the canvas, or use 4.8 to help crop the parts outside the canvas. It's no big deal, and I hope this can help friends who encounter the same issue.
