    I often use IK constraints to fix long hair that gets caught on the character's shoulders! This allows the hair to follow the rotation of the shoulder bones. You can use weights alone to hold the hair in place on the shoulders, but there are times when you want to move the loosely held hair so that it sways or slides over the shoulders.
