Unity 2021.3.15f1

I imported all my Spine 3.9 assets to 4.1 and updated the runtimes and URP Shaders UPM packages.

I got realtime shadows to cast onto the Spine 4.1 characters now. 😀

But I'm running into another roadbump.

#1. Geometry now casts shadows onto Spine characters . Great! ~

#2. Cookie lights don't cast shadows unfortunately. 😥

Do you know if it's possible for light cookies to work on Spine characters? 😅

@IndieDoroid A commit has just been pushed to the 4.1 branch which adds support for light cookies at the Universal Render Pipeline/Spine/Sprite shader. A new Spine URP Shaders UPM package is available for download here as usual:

      I did another test and the projections seem ok?

      I need to check my cookies to see why they're doing this weird horizontal flip. 😓

      It does not look wrong, given that the light source is projecting from bottom-left direction. The contact points seem to line up perfectly at the feet at least. It's impossible to judge from a single image though.

      You should be able to quickly test this by rotating the skeleton around the horizontal X-axis so that it's almost parallel to the ground.

          Sometimes these things can look counter-intuitive at first. 🙂
