Hello Joe,

With reference to your post in Spine forums, I am offering my services as a Spine animator. I have been using Spine for more than 2 years now and am fairly experienced and comfortable with its skeletal setup and animation. I am a hard working, experienced, and self motivated professional with experience in 2D and 3D Gaming and Animation. Some of my Spine work can be seen using the following link:

Thanks for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. I am based in India.

Kind Regards,

Hi Jaf,

Thanks for getting back in touch so quickly. Your animations look great, and a nice varied mix of styles. Could you tell me a little More about your back ground and your current situation? Are you currently working freelance?

Do you have a day rate you charge for animation work or do you charge per animation?

And finally would you be happy to complete a small animation art test in Spine based on one of the character from our game? I would also need to you to sign and return a NDA as all of our titles are currently protected under a discloser agreement.

Regards,

Joe

Hello Joe,

Thanks for your reply and the kind words. Much appreciated.

I have been animating for over 10 years now - both in 2D and 3D. Comfortable with Spine, 3DS Max and Maya. I also do rigging. Love working in Spine. Presently working for a Game Studio here for. They also chose to use Spine - which is great! I am also pretty comfortable using mesh in Spine which gives great results! My current contract with the studio ends early June.

I would be more than glad to do a test in Spine for you. Please let me know the details. I understand and respect the confidential nature of the projects and would be absolutely fine with signing the NDA.

I charge per animation.

Hope this helps. Thanks again for writing back, Joe. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,
Jaf

Hi again Jaf,

I am just compiling an art test together. One of the constraint of the project we are working on is that a lot of the character have already been drawn for a previous title. So we are retro-fitting animations to static images. This does mean that some images need to be split and manipulated in Photoshop before being suitable for rigging.. Is this something you would also feel competent in doing? Or would you rather us provide you with a 'pre split' asset sheet?

I will also provide some examples of other characters we have already completed to use as a frame of reference.

By the way you might might to reply via email as i don't check this PM very often. My email address is: jstone@sega.co.uk

Regards,

Joe.

Thanks for the update and sharing your email, Joe. I will write to you later today with the details.

Thanks and kind regards,
Jaf
