Cool! Looks like you have explored a lot of how to rig and animate in Spine. Your walk animation needs a bit of work to feel natural, but you'll get there if you keep at it!

We have a video series about animation theory, though it's still on the basics and doesn't yet have a video on animating a walk cycle. Still, I recommend checking out the videos and going through the exercises in each video. You won't learn nearly as much if you just watch them without doing the exercises yourself.

Until we have a walk cycle video in the Animating with Spine video series, check out this video which explains the various parts of the walk cycle.

Oh, yeah, the animation is garbage. I'm just working out a pipeline right now. Thanks for the links. I have a copy of the The Animator's Survival Kit on my desk too but I'm not going to personally be doing much of the animation on this project. We're working on something that has hard deadlines around the corner. I'm using Spine to speed up the prototyping process. Still not 100% Spine will meet our long term needs but it has been a great tool so far for getting everything worked out.
