- Is there any place to get pictures for animations to attach into the bones?
(preferable open source, but if the prices are cheaper, then that is an option)
Is my understanding the final character needs to be cut down in pieces to get a smother animation (such as the spinboy or the dragon examples)
- Or even pre-made "bone" animations ready to be skinned?
I am not an artists but a programmer; so actually I am using sprites such this one

and doing animating using javascript

For now I am thinking to use the same sprite sheet as above into SPINE using only ONE bone, then do the animation using the imaging switching approach.
My plan is to use the libgdx runtime library. Later I guess it is just matter to change animations and the game will continue functional with not code changes.
