How to unparent meshes ?
Hi ! Im trying to make a hand animation. I have two meshes one above the other; the first is the front the second is the back of the hand. The back mesh is parented to the front mesh. How can I unparent them as separate meshes?
Hi, since you can't parent one mesh to another I'm not quite sure what you're asking.
Please provide a screenshot of the tree focusing on the meshes in question, so we can better help.
To parent a mesh to a specific bone all you need to do is drag the mesh, or the slot containing the mesh, to the bone you want to parent it to. Alternatively you can select the mesh and press Hotkey P
and then select the bone you want to parent it to.
Just drag one of the meshes onto the bone it is already on, or to a different bone. Spine will then create a new slot, for the mesh to reside in.
