  • problem with translucency sorting in Spine objects in Unreal

Hi, I recently upgraded my project to 4.22 and some things seem to not be working the way they used to.
The sorting order for spine objects is not working anymore, this is how it's looking right now:

These are the same objects from other perspective:

I already configured the Translucency sort policy on project settings (used to have problems with this issue and solved with this setting)

Did something change in 4.22 that could affect this? How can I solve this problem?

I'm not sure if I'm adding something useful to the issue, wanted to point out that the issue happens even in editor, there's no need for the game to be running. And it happens with two spine objects, not with a sprite and a spine object (or two sprites).

It seems related, but sprites behave correctly in my project. Even a sprite with a Spine object render correctly. The problem arises only with two spine objects.

Worth checking out 4.23 though.

Sorry for everything taking so long. I had a deep dive into this. It appears that 4.22 is indeed broken. I tried to find a work around, but failed. 4.21 and 4.23 work as intended. I'm afraid there's nothing on our end we can do about this.

It's ok. I'll use 4.23 then.
