Just downloaded trail app to test it out. First thing I noticed.
Two fingers on trackpad should support pinch zoom.
Now it is panning without pinch zooming. These can be supported simultaneously.
We are going to be improving trackpad support, can't give you the exact details, but it will come.
Not sure we'll be able to support multiple touches, but we'll try. Either way we are going to make it usable on a touchpad. We realize it is currently difficult. One thing that might help in the meantime is to hold control (probably command for Mac?) and then pan up/down in the editor area to zoom.

Yes, I think Spine should learn how Mac Version Blender use Trackpad, two finger pinch for zoom in and out, and two finger move for just pan, this isn't difficult. Now two finger move on trackpad of Spine apple version is mixing pan and zoom, and pinch do nothing, a bit confusing,
